What trains can I travel on with the BritRail Pass?

The BritRail Pass is valid on all rail lines that are operated by ATOC (The association of train operating companies)

These companies are responsible for Britain's railways.

The BritRail Pass allows you to come and go as you please on any these rail lines throughout the validity of your rail pass.

Meaning. You have full access to the British Rail system when you use your BritRail Pass (with the exception of the Eurostar).

ATOC consists of the following train operating companies:

Arriva Trains
c2c
Chiltern Railways
Cross Country
East Coast
East Midlands Trains
Eurostar: The BritRail Pass is not valid on the Eurostar.
First Capital Connect
First Great Western
First Hull Trains
First Trans Pennine Express
Grand Central
Heathrow Express
London Midland
London Overground
Mersey Rail
National Express
Northern Rail
ScotRail
Southern
Southeastern
Southwest Trains
Virgin Trains
